art for all home page - more contemporary animal & wildlife art - Jennifer Brereton

Jennifer Brereton

Jennifer Brereton works mainly in pencil as well as charcoal and conte crayon. A farming childhood gave Jennifer insight into animal behaviour; details that are very much appreciated by highly critical customers who handle stock. The animals that she draws can be champion examples, as in Cabbages & Kings featuring some of Robyn Hulmes successful Crosemanor flock of Suffolks. Irish Cream pictures the record priced Stockton Almighty Suffolk ram belonging to Tom Bailey and Queen Bee is a portrait of the champion Aberdeen Angus of that name, from Bob Lanes Penguin herd. In 2000 she was invited to exhibit at both World Dairy Expo in Madison and the Royal Winter Fair in Toronto. Many of her images, limited to editions of 500 prints, are now sold out. Original drawings sell quickly and attract high prices.
