David Farrant

David Farrant has undertaken over 20 portrait commissions and has work in private collections throughout the United Kingdom, Germany, New Zealand, Australia and United States of America. David works in either acrylic or oils to a fairly large format so that his pictures have "presence" in the domestic environment. His interest is primarily in the figure - people at work, in the street, at leisure: seen and remembered, which are then re-invented using drawings, colour sketches and photographs.
